Rebecca Releases Debut Original Single

WHEN I SEE YOU AGAIN
Rebecca Winckworth | Debut Original Single

THE SONG:

When I See You Again is the first original song written by Irish singer Rebecca Winckworth during the pandemic in 2020

Stranded in Colombia, South America, she wrote it in isolation from an apartment on the 18th floor in the city of Medellín. One day, whilst looking out the window across the city, and over the hills, she thought of her loved ones far away in Ireland.

It felt like life and the entire world as she knew it would be changed forever by the time she would “see” them again, but the hope of seeing her family and holding them in her arms once more gave her comfort.

Lyrics and melody by Rebecca Winckworth (Ireland)

Music and production by Grammy-winning Julio Cesar Sierra (Colombia)

Featuring

  • Fames Project – Macedonian Symphony Orchestra
  • Soul Gospel Choir (Medellín)
  • Grammy-winning musicians Toby Tobón on guitars and bass, and Juan Guillermo Aguilar “Cosito” on percussion and drums (Colombia)
