In 2020 during the height of the pandemic, she founded the “Citizens of Song” virtual concert series which went on to feature hundreds of musical artists from across the entire globe, reaching audiences in their hundreds of thousands.

Rebecca has been living in Medellín, Colombia, South America for the last three years where she has been immersed in the world of Latin Music.

This July she returns to Ireland with her show “The Long Road – My Musical Journeys across Latin America”. which chronicles her arrival in Argentina in 2019 and her travels across the continent, featuring the most famous songs and stories from the countries she encountered along her way. Intertwined with her travels, is her particular love for the country of Colombia, where she has made a longterm home, and where she has written a wealth of original music inspired by the people from all walks of life that inspire her every day; from Venezuelan migrant crisis which has spilled into Colombia, to the heartbreak of having a life across two continents, to the joy of falling in love in this continent, to the hardship of being separated from loved ones during the pandemic. Her music is diverse, encompassing Latin American rhythms and genres from zamba and bolero, to tango, to salsa and folklore, whilst also giving a nod to her Irish heritage which has shaped her musical experience in a profound way.

Rebecca sings the music of her life in Latin America whilst also telling stories that inspire one to not fear the road that is less travelled, for it is there that you will find the wildest adventures of your life and perhaps the most happiness and joy imaginable.
